Who we are

Hi, I’m Leigh Brown, founder of Patriot Relief®.

This organization was born from a simple idea: when disaster strikes, we show up. Not with red tape, but with real help. Boots on the ground, supplies in hand, and hearts ready to serve our neighbors when they need it most.

Patriot Relief® began after I saw families devastated by Hurricane Helene. Flooded homes, destroyed towns, and a mess so big it called for all hands on deck to help western North Carolina. I knew I had to act. What started as a few social media posts quickly turned into donations and volunteers far beyond what I expected. That first trip became another, and then another. Before long, it turned into a mission.

What We Do

Patriot Relief® provides rapid-response disaster relief across the country. We mobilize volunteers and deliver supplies to communities hit hard by hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other natural disasters. And we stay long after the media leaves, helping people pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives in the places they call home. We believe deeply in the importance of staying rooted.

The Heart of It All: You

What humbles me most is the outpouring of love, time, and generosity from people all across the United States. Volunteers have driven cross-country to build temporary tractor sheds and grade driveways. Donors from every corner of the country have sent everything from bottled water to heavy equipment. This work isn’t just ours—it belongs to you too.

You’ve made one thing clear: when Americans see their neighbors in crisis, they don’t wait for permission. They jump in. That’s the spirit behind Patriot Relief®.

Why We Keep Going

Disasters don’t care about zip codes. When the winds die down and the waters recede, someone has to be there. We choose to be that someone.

I believe in meeting people where they are—in the mud, in the mess, and in the hardest moments of their lives. We offer more than just supplies. We offer hope. We listen. We work side by side until things start to feel a little less broken.

Our Promise

We’re building partnerships with churches, local governments, civic groups, and businesses to stretch every dollar and multiply every effort. Our dream is to have a Patriot Relief® chapter in every state so we can respond whenever and wherever we’re needed.
